After Giving Birth Affirmation


The days and weeks after giving birth see a lot of changes for new mums. They are busy getting to know their baby, just what their needs are and often question whether they are doing a good enough job. YOU ARE.

No baby is born clutching an instruction booklet, and advice from friends can vary a great deal. You learn to rely on your instinct which hones in to your baby’s cries, little noises, sleep patterns etc. It really is OK to be an OK mum, super mums are usually things of fiction, so be kind to yourself and don’t beat yourself up.

If you read and listen to these affirmations, they will go a long way towards kicking out any niggling negative messages you may be giving yourself. When baby rests, you rest – as for the dusting etc – as the song says, let it go! Take care.
